In its most nail-biting match of the season, the Wolfpack emerged victorious over Whitney Young with a narrow 3-2 win with every one of the Wolfpack three victories coming down to a decisive third-set match tiebreak. At #1 Singles, Kate Gibble battled through a tough three-setter, taking the win 6-3, 4-6, 10-5. Her steady play and focus in the final tiebreak set the tone for the team. Over at #1 Doubles, Catherine-Grace Smith and Sophie Espaldon staged a dramatic comeback after dropping the first set 0-6. She rebounded with grit and determination, closing out the match 0-6, 6-4, 10-8. With the match tied 2-2, it all came down to the #2 Doubles duo of Jaiden Cooke and Ivie Ehimwenman. After falling 3-6 in the opening set, the pair rallied to take the second 6-4 and clinched the overall team victory with a clutch 10-8 win in the tiebreak. The Wolfpack showed remarkable resilience and mental toughness under pressure, sealing one of their most exciting wins of the season.
