Pack Hold Off Spartans

The Wolfpack built a 5-run lead in the second inning and then held off St. Francis for a 6-4 win Thursday. The Pack accumulated 10 hits as the offense was led by Grace Moran who drove in 2 RBI's going 2-for-4 on the day. Tess Connelly opened the game for the Wolfpack. The hurler gave up five hits and four runs (two earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking four. Claire Tansor appeared in relief to lock down the save.
