Wolfpack Put Up Huge Score at Friar Invite

The Wolfpack won the Friar Invitational with a huge team score of 518 as numerous personal bests and a few top 10 all-time performers in school history were recorded. Juniors Knox Kruk and Quinn Kellogg swept the diving competition for first and second place! Freshman Molly Wideikis, Senior Captain Chayse Massimino, and Senior Mariposa Arroyo swept the top 3 spots in the 200 freestyle. Wideikis final time of 1:52.18 moved to #5 performer in school history. Junior Alexis Ambrosino and Sophomore Sam Mondrus scored third and fourth in the 200 IM. Senior Penelope Del Aguila Solis and Junior Emma Pairone tied for fourth place in the 50 freestyle. Ambrosino, Mondrus Sophomore Laney Mulcrone, and Pairone dominated in the 100 fly, placing first, second, third, and fifth. Senior Captain Livia Cremer won the 100 freestyle with a new personal best. Wideikis teamed up with Arroyo again to sweep the 500. Wideikis final time of 5:02.32 places her #7 performer in school history. Massimino and Del Aguila Solis split in the 100 backstroke for first and fourth place. Livia Cremer won the 100 Breaststroke with her Sophomore Ella Cremer and Senior Kennedy Riley scoring fourth and fifth place. Cremer’s 1:06.55 moves her to the #3 performer in school history. The Wolfpack won all three relays. 200 Free Relay team of Mulcrone, Ella Cremer, Mondrus, and Wideikis established a new fresh-soph record with a final time of 1:39.16 to break the 2011 mark.
