IHSA Sectional Champions!!!

The Wolfpack came into the game hungry, and finished with a 3-0 victory over DePaul College Prep to win the IHSA Sectional Championship and secure a spot in the IHSA Elite 8 vying for a state title.  Saint Ignatius started the scoring early, with two goals from junior winger Lauren Reed, both within a few minutes.  The backline of Maggie Helms, Lucy Schmidt, Carmella O'Malley, Izzy Radecki, Lily Schwartz and keeper MC Galante shut down the DePaul attack.  Maggie Helms stepped up to close down the Rams star striker Lucia Trautman time after time.  The midfield worked hard the entire game on both ends of the field with some stellar tackles from Sofia Knoepp, great runs and passes from Lili Garcia and a free kick goal from Quinn Urquhart gave the Pack their final goal.
