Wolfpack Win Season Opener

The Wolfpack kicked off the season with a tri-meet against Fenwick and Mother McAuley in a sprint queen of the hill format. Athletes competed in all four 50s of strokes: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle. Saint Ignatius captured the victory with 910.5 team points, routing both teams with Senior Franchesca Sanchez winning three events and winning the high point competition. In a last-minute change, the Wolfpack selected Senior Colleen Tracy and Junior Livia Cremer as champions for the 100 IM super final. Tracy and Cremer went on to sweep the event and established new best times. Ignatius will take on U of C Lab School, Lane Tech, Jones-Payton, and Andrew next Wednesday at the University of Chicago.
