The Wolfpack traveled to South Florida to compete at the 20th annual September Splash Invite hosted by Saint Andrews in Boca Raton, Florida. Seniors Alexis Nelson and Delaney Brown scored big points in the 1m 6-dive competition, with Delaney scoring seventh and Alexis picking up the event win. Junior Chayse Massimino and Seniors Angela Wideikis and Maeve Shannon swept the 200 freestyle for first through third place, with Freshman Ella Cremer scoring sixth. Senior Colleen Tracy and Junior Livia Cremer took first and second in the 200 IM, with Freshman Sam Mondrus and Sophomore Alexis Ambrosino picking up fifth and sixth. Sophomore Greta Mikulaninec, Junior Kennedy Riley, Junior Penelope Del Aguila, and Maeve Shannon took fifth through eighth in the 50 freestyle. Senior Franchesca Sanchez won the 100 fly and moved to #2 all-time performer in school history. Senior Margaret Hickey, Freshman Delaney Mulcrone, and Sophomore Emma Pairone picked up fourth through sixth, respectively. Senior Liepa Niaura and Colleen Tracy split first and third in the 100 free, with Wideikis and Mikulaninec scoring sixth and seventh. Juniors Livia Cremer and Mariposa Arroyo scored first and second in the 500 freestyle, with freshman duo, Ella Cremer and Sam Mondrus, picking up fifth and seventh. Niaura, Massimino, and Del Aguila secured third, fourth, and seventh in the 100 backstroke. Arroyo won the 100 breaststroke, with Riley and Ambrosino scoring third and fifth place. The Wolfpack won all three relays. Sanchez’s lead-off 50 of the 200 free relay elevated her to the third fastest performer in school history. Sanchez’s lead-off 100 of the 400 free relay also propelled her to the fifth fastest performer in school history. Saint Ignatius was victorious with a final team score of 204.
