Pack Advance at Windy City

Despite receiving two penalty kick calls and playing a very physical opponent, the Wolfpack preserved to defeat Lincoln-Way West in the round of eight, 2-1 at the Windy City Classic.  Kayla Washington and Lili Garcia dominated the board with two assists and two goals each.  Goalkeeper, Ava Stern played the first half and saved the first penalty kick for a shut out.  Goalkeeper, Addie Allen faced a much more determined opponent in the second half, had four saves but couldn't stop the second penalty kick.  The Pack is now facing Lincoln-Way Central in the round of four on Tuesday and will be fighting to claim a place in the Championship game on Thursday.
