Wolfpack Place 2nd at Fremd Invite

The Pack placed second in the team standings at the Viking Relays at William Fremd. The diving duo of senior Aisling Crowley and sophomore Alexis Nelson placed 3rd in the diving combined score competition. The Wolfpack won 4 relays and placed second in 3 relays. Senior Captains Jilly MacNamara and Maya Arroyo teamed up with Freshman Mariposa Arroyo and Sophomore Liepa Niaura to win the 200 medley relay. Sophomore Colleen Tracy joined Freshmen Livia Cremer and Chayse Massimino in the 3x100 individual medley relay for a relay win. Sophomore Franchesca Sanchez led off the 300 backstroke relay with Cremer, Massimino, and MacNamara diving in for the event win by over five seconds. Sophomore Angela Wideikis, Cremer, and the Arroyo sisters won the 300 breaststroke relay with a comeback win from relay anchor Mariposa Arroyo. In the combined time events, the Wolfpack was first in the 50 back and second in the 50 free, 50 breast, and 50 fly. Saint Ignatius placed second overall to Fremd but defeated Mundelein, Cary Grove, Rolling Meadows, Mother McAuley, Elk Grove, Trinity, and Latin.
