Pack Represent on World Stage

The Wolfpack divided and conquered this past weekend. While some of the team squad squared off against New Trier, CRF, and Loyola in Skokie, IL, the Varsity squad sent three boats to Boston, MA where they competed in the world-renowned Head of the Charles regatta. This rowing competition is the largest in the world, fielding 800 teams from countries ranging from the US to Mexico, Great Britain, New Zealand, and South Africa. The Girls Varsity 4+ (Mary Schmitz C'25, Eleanora Murer C'25, Molly Blough C'24, Lauren Alfaro C'24 and Libby McMahon C'25) placed 56th out of 90, the Girls Varsity 8+ (Sophia Shaughnessy C'26, Frida Guillen C'24, Liberty Cunningham C'25, Jazmin Armenta C'24, Mia Lucente C'25, Lucy Bruns C'24, Lauren Rundio C'25, Clare Carpenter C'26, and Rory Church C'25) placed 83rd out of 90, and the Boys Varsity 8+ (Matthew Bermeo C'24, Francis Duffy C'25, John Tarpy C'25, Henry Drogosz C'24, Lucas Bolanos C'26, William Chong C'25, Jack Ennis C'25, Abhiram Batchu C'25, and Sarah Novy C'25) placed 67th out of 90. Congrats to all crews from representing SICP on the world stage!
