Lyons Edges Pack in Opener

In game one of the season-opening City/Suburb invitational, the Wolfpack struggled to generate offensive pressure on a very windy night against Lyons Township. After battling to a 0-0 draw at halftime, LT capitalized on a defensive miscommunication early in the second half to put away what would prove to be the game-winning goal. The Wolfpack stepped up the pressure in the final 15 minutes, but could not find the back of the net.
