Welcome to Wolfpack Boys Water Polo! Since our varsity beginnings in 2002, the boys water polo team has grown from a small startup program to one of the top teams in the state of Illinois. Our goal is to help student-athletes not only reach their water polo potential, but also reach their potential as Ignatians. Players grow in terms of work ethic, dedication, and teamwork - all while having a lot of fun along the way.

We offer two levels of play (Varsity and JV), and we play in one of the toughest conferences in the state, the Metro Catholic Aquatic Conference, which is home to all seven IHSA boys water polo state championship teams. Our thirty-game schedule offers student-athletes plenty of experience and opportunities to hone their water polo skills. The majority of our student-athletes actually join the Pack with little to no previous playing experience, but are able to make up that deficit quickly with enthusiasm and willingness to learn the sport.
