After beginning as an assistant coach in 2019, Daniel Lee took charge of the Saint Ignatius College Prep Boys and Girls Tennis teams. During his tenure, he’s helped numerous singles and doubles players qualify for the IHSA State Finals. The girls won an IHSA Sectional title, and the boys clinched a CCL Championship. Coach Lee also led the boys doubles team to a fifth place finish at the IHSA State Finals in 2023.

IHSA Sectional Champions!!!
The Wolfpack won the IHSA Sectional qualifying six players for the IHSA State tournament that begins on Thursday. It was an all Saint Ignatius final in both singles and doubles! Ivy Hicks won the singles division over teammate Helena Cilella while Maya Goyal and Evie Tskolas captured the doubles crown over teammates Abby Weis and Kathryn Starshak.Read More -
Wolfpack Win Tom Menn Invite!
For the fourth consecutive year, the Wolfpack won the Tom Menn trophy at Saturday’s 19th Ward tennis tournament. Hosted by Morgan Park Academy, the tournament took place on the clay courts at the Beverly Hills Tennis Club. Ignatius played two singles and two doubles matches against spirited teams from Morgan Park, Mother McAuley and Marist for a total of 12 matches overall. During the last round, the Ignatius squad split matches with McAuley, 2-2, and the two teams were tied with eight match victories apiece. The tie was broken by counting all individual games won by each team. The tally put Ignatius on top with a three-game margin. Playing for Ignatius were seniors Ivvy Hicks, Maya Goyal, Allison Hughes, Megan Kelly, Skye McKenzie and Abby Weis; juniors Kathryn Starshak, Delia Troy and Ellie Wangard; and sophomore Helena Cilella.
