The focus of the Saint Ignatius Boys Tennis Program is to help players improve their skills and match-playing abilities while building teamwork and physical fitness. The goal of the coaching staff is to create a fun, hard-working and winning atmosphere that values dedication, sportsmanship, and determination. During the season, the coaches will expect the following from team members: 100% participation in practice and match obligations, demonstration of proper respect and behavior at all times and proper management of academic responsibilities. Players will need to plan other obligations around their tennis commitments. Players and families can expect clear communication and complete dedication from the coaching staff.
The Wolfpack opened its season in dominant fashion, sweeping Mount Carmel 5–0. Three matches were especially decisive: Cyrus Darki at No. 1 singles, the No. 1 doubles team of Thomas Cilella and Nicolas Caicedo, and the No. 3 doubles pair of Liam Goyal and Shiven Devnani all earned flawless 6–0, 6–0 victories without dropping a single game.
