    Introduction
    Our staff endeavors to develop our athletes not only on the court but off the court as well. Student-athletes who participate in volleyball learn self-discipline, perseverance, hard work and a sense of personal and school pride. Developing personal integrity is also a goal of the Saint Ignatius volleyball program.

    The Team
    Saint Ignatius volleyball is a Class 3A program that competes in the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Red Division during the regular season. The Wolfpack compete in 15 regular season matches along with 4 tournaments at the varsity level. The Wolfpack’s strong schedule challenges our players to perform at their highest level both mentally and physically throughout the season.

  • IHSA Regional Champions!!!

    The Wolfpack won their 22nd IHSA Regional title on Thursday 25-15, 18-25, 25-12. Gabby Williams put the Wolfpack on her back as she had 9 kills and a block. Kat cox dished 30 assists in the win as Ignatius advances to the Little Village Sectional-Semi Final against Nazareth who won last years 3A state championship. 
  • Pack Stun Broncos

    The Wolfpack traveled to Montini to take on the Broncos for a GCAC match and stole the show! The Wolfpack dominated from start to finish with a 25-22, 25-20 upset win. Gabrielle Williams (7 kills, 2 blocks) and Olivia Sobczyk (6 kills, 3 blocks, 2 aces) dominated at the net while Kat Cox dished out 18 assists for Ignatius. 
  • Wolfpack Day Cut Short

    The Wolfpack was headed to the final four of the Lake Forest Invite when an evacuation of the building shortened the tournament. The Pack was 3-0 on the day with wins over Regina, Lakes and Lake Forest. Leading the Pack was Micayla Clinton with 23 kills, Isabella Alvarez (27 digs) and Kat Cox (62 assists). Olivia Sobczyk, Amelia Mack and Tiffany Rehkemper added 4 aces each. 
  • Wolfpack Defeat Friars on Senior Night

    The Wolfpack celebrated their seniors the old fashion way with a 25-21, 25-15 win. Senior Kat Cox ran the Pack offense with 17 assists and 1 ace. Seniors, Amelia Mack (11 digs, 4 kills), Micayla Clinton (5 kills, 10 digs), Olivia Sobczyk (5 kills, 2 blocks), Cece Latsko (3 kills), Isabella Alvarez (9 digs) and Emily Owens (1 kill, 1 dig)  also chipped in to the GCAC win. The Wolfpack also honored manager Michelle Garcia for her dedication to the program and behind the scenes work this season! 
  • Wolfpack Fight Hard at Fall Harvest Fest

    The Wolfpack played almost as many sets as possible at the Fall Harvest Fest but could not find the win column in some tight game threes. On Friday the Pack lost to York in two 25-23, 25-11 and Chicago Christian 26-24, 19-25, 14-16 in three. On Saturday, the Pack defeated Oswego 21-25, 25-22, 15-4 but lost two all out battles to Timothy Christian 20-25, 25-22, 13-15 and Sterling 22-25, 25-19, 10-15. Olivia Sobczyk did a bit of everything with 11 aces, 17 kills and 10 blocks. Olivia Dasznski (29 kills), Amelia Mack (27 kills, 3 blocks), Gabby Williams (25 kills, 3 blocks) and Kat Cox (100 assists) led the Wolfpack. 
  • Wolfpack Shock Huskies to End Regular Season

    The Wolfpack continued their solid play with a shocking 26-24, 25-18 win over #8 OPRF at home Thursday night. After losing to the Huskies earlier this season the Pack showed what the playoffs will look like for their opponents with a solid win. The Pack serve receive has been an issue this season but stepped up huge as Micayla Clinton passed at 2.40 rating and Amelia Mack passed at 2.32. Clinton added 13 kills in an offensive explosion while Mack added 7 kills of her own. Gabby Williams locked down the middle with 7 kills and 2 blocks as the Pack get set to make their run in the 2022 IHSA 3A playoffs. 
  • #6 McAuley Defeats Wolfpack

    The Wolfpack lost to the Mighty Macs of Mother McAuley on Thursday 25-15, 25-14. The #6 team in the nation kept the Pack on their heels most of the night as Kat Cox dished out 17 assists and Micayla Clinton added 9 kills. 
  • Pack Take Down Spartans

    The Wolfpack made it back-to-back wins with a 25-22, 25-11 win over Marian Catholic. Micayla Clinton was on fire with 12 kills and hitting .524 for the match. Amelia Mack added 3 aces and 13 digs as well. 
  • Meteors Comeback to Stop Pack

    The Wolfpack looked liked they could get back to the win column but the Meteors of De La Salle came back to win in three 25-23, 19-25, 22-25. Emily Owens had 10 kills and Olivia Sobczyk added 6 kills in the loss. 
  • Wolfpack Defeat Jones

    The Wolfpack needed a win and it finally came at home against Jones 25-21, 25-15. The Pack was led by their setters who both had solid nights as Kat Cox (10 assists, 2 aces, 6 digs) and Audrey Schabes (8 assist, 2 aces, 6 digs) did a little bit of everything for Ignatius. Micayla Clinton added 9 kills and 10 digs just missing a double/double while Olivia Sobczyk was a force in the middle with 5 kills and 3 solos blocks. 
  • Celtics Edge Wolfpack

    Despite having late leads in both games the Wolfpack fell to GCAC foe Providence on Tuesday 26-24, 25-23. The Pack was led by Isabella Alvarez with 3 aces, 11 digs and 4 assists. Micayla Clinton chipped in 5 kills. 
  • Nazareth Holds On to Stop Pack

    The Wolfpack lost to sectional foe Nazareth on Thursday 26-24, 25-13 on the road. Leading the Pack was Emily Owens with 6 kills while hitting .417 on the night. Elsa Weiss moved to the middle chipping in 3 kills and 2 blocks. Olivia Sobczyk also added 1 ace, 2 kills and 2 blocks. 
  • Ramblers Defeat Pack

    The Wolfpack lost to Loyola at home 25-18, 25-16. Micayla Clinton led the Pack with 6 kills while Skylar Greene and Emily Owens chipped in 5 kills each. 
  • Red Devils Stop Pack

    The Wolfpack dropped their home opener 25-19, 25-17 to Hinsdale Central. Gabby Williams led the Wolfpack hitting .500% with 5 kills and two total blocks. Skylar Green chipped in 6 kills as well.
  • Marist Tops Pack

    The Pack went on the road to face the Redhawks of Marist on Thursday night. The powerful Redhawks defeated the Pack 25-10, 25-21. Leading Ignatius was the freshman duo of Skylar Green (6 kills, 2 total blocks) and Audrey Schabes (11 assists). 
  • Pack Grab Win in Final Match at NT Invite

    The Wolfpack went 1-4 at the New Trier Invite this weekend. After losses to OPRF (25-19, 25-15), Hamilton (25-15, 25-19) and New Trier (25-18, 25-19) on Friday the Pack got back at it on Saturday morning. In match one against Niles West the Pack opened game one on a six point run but was unable to keep the momentum falling (25-15, 25-19). In match two the Pack ended the weekend on a high note defeating Niles North (25-22-25-20). Leading Ignatius was Olivia Sobczyk with 5 aces and 3 total blocks, Gabby Williams with 17 kills and Eva Talarico with 31 digs. 
  • Wolfpack Go 1-4 at MVOE Invite

    The Wolfpack struggled in the tough MVOE Invite this past weekend playing against some quality 4A teams. On Friday the Pack defeated Metea Valley JV in three (25-21, 20-25, 15-12) but lost to Naperville Central (25-21, 24-26, 6-15) and Batavia (25-19, 22-25, 7-15) in three. On Saturday the Wolfpack fell to Glenbard East (25-18, 25-17) and Hinsdale South (25-23, 26-24). Isabella Alvarez (8 aces), Skylar Green (34 kills), Gabby Williams (12 total blocks) and Audrey Schabes (68 assists) led Ignatius. 
  • DGN Spoils Opener

    The Wolfpack lost to  Downers Grove North to open the 2022 season 25-22, 23-25, 13-25. With a late lead in game two by the Wolfpack. The Trojans stormed back to edge the Pack and rolled to a three game win. Micayla Clinton (5 aces, 4 kills), Cece Latsko (6 kills, 2 block assists) and Kat Cox (12 assists, 3 kills, 5 digs) led the Wolfpack.
