Women's Society

The Saint Ignatius Women's Society supports the Ignatius tradition of men and women for others by being philanthropic leaders for the benefit of the current Saint Ignatius students.

The Women's Society is comprised of a diverse community of parents, alumni, and friends. We engage, reflect, and support the school's mission through philanthropic efforts, service, and events for the Ignatius family to connect together in a meaningful way.

IN HONOR OF OUR MOTHERS
Launched in 2019, the Saint Ignatius Women’s Society has developed a program centered around Mothers. 
 
The "In Honor of Our Mothers" program is a heartfelt and meaningful way to send love and gratitude to mothers and mother figures who have made a difference in our lives in a special tribute while also making a difference in the lives of Ignatius students.
 
In keeping with the Women’s Society Mission, the “In Honor of Our Mothers” Program is an opportunity for Saint Ignatius students, parents, alumni, and friends to make a contribution to the school's Tuition Assistance Program. NEW! Charms and Jewelry for Special Women in Your Life
 
The Women's Society is excited to now partner with Milagros Jewelry, by Gracia on a jewelry collection whose proceeds benefit both students at Saint Ignatius College Prep and young women in Guatemala working towards economic empowerment. Economic empowerment is more than a paycheck - it means young women can earn an income, become financially literate, live independently, and stand up for themselves. Milagros Jewelry, by Gracia, is made by young women in rural Guatemala. Each piece carries the fingerprint of the young woman who made it. This jewelry collection is perfect for mothers, sisters, daughters, and graduates! Visit the collection here. 
  
2023/24 EVENTS
Signature Dinner - 5.2.24 (Thursday)
We are always excited to host this annual event where we bring together over 300 women in the spirit of community and friendship, all while helping our students. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting our school's Tuition Assistance program. Click here to register. Each year, we recognize the Golden Rose Award recipient at the dinner. Our 2024 honoree is Margaret Brabec Skalski, whose support for and impact on the Saint Ignatius community took many forms over many years. Thank you, Margaret, for being a woman for others!
 
In addition to single ticket options, we have two sponsorships available this year. You can become a Table Sponsor or a Golden Rose Sponsor. Golden Rose Sponsorships include a table sponsorship plus a special gift for you and your guests! The special gift is part of the Women’s Society NEW collaboration with Milagros Jewelry, by Gracia. Each Golden Rose Sponsor will receive our new AMDG Charm Necklace for everyone at the table! We invite everyone to visit the jewelry collection, which has gifts perfect for mothers, sisters, friends and graduates! Golden Rose Sponsorships must be secured by April 11th to ensure jewelry delivery at the Signature Dinner. 
 
Women’s Society Holiday Shopping Event - 11.11.23 (Saturday)
Thank you to everyone who came out to the Women’s Society Holiday Shopping Event! It was wonderful to see familiar and new faces in Tully Hall among our shoppers and vendors. If you would like to purchase any items from the vendors who were at the event, you can find their information by clicking here. Most of the businesses are owned by women so it’s a privilege to support them. Thank you for being at our event.
 
We would like to give a HUGE shout out to our Holiday Shopping Event Co-Chairs: Cory Gonzalez, Sara Koehl, and Jodi Stuart! Thank you!! We appreciate their dedication, talent, and grace!
 
Thank you, also, to each and every volunteer to helped us prepare for, execute, and break down the event!! You are magic!!

Winter Social - Game Night

Thank you to everyone who came out for tonight’s Women’s Society Game Night! Our beginner players learned the rules and those more experienced brushed up on their blinds, calls, and, unfortunately, their folds… all in good fun and fellowship with other women from our school community.

It’s “Almost” Spring Social (3/13/24)
Thanks to everyone who came out last night for the Women’s Society Pickleball Tournament!! What a fun night!! Congratulations to our Pickleball Champions! Intermediate Group: Janet Fink & Nancy Hess. Beginner Group: Paige Newman & Tracy Hernandez. We are SO thankful for:

MEMBERSHIP
All women in the Saint Ignatius community-- including alumni, current and past parents and friends-- are invited to become active members and participate in events and committees. Membership in the Women’s Society requires no financial contribution. Participation in any event/project is welcomed and encouraged. If you are interested in participating in planning or attending any of our events, please contact the Board at womens.society@ignatius.org.

PHILANTHROPIC CIRCLE
The Philanthropic Circle is comprised of women who have donated in support of the Women's Society Endowment. Membership in the Society's Philanthropic Circle is encouraged. Funds raised during the 2023-24 fiscal year will benefit the school's Tuition Assistance program through the Women's Society scholarship endowment.
