Jeremy Atuobi '17 is a first-generation Ghanaian-American and lifelong Chicagoan who proudly calls the Near South Side home. At Saint Ignatius College Prep, he was active in the Black Organization of Successful Students (B.O.S.S.), Model United Nations, and Track & Field. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2021 and began his career at McKinsey & Company. There, he partnered with C-suite leaders across industries—including consumer goods, aerospace and defense, energy, automotive, and the social sector—to advance strategic priorities spanning product development, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, digital transformation, and R&D. He later served as Manager of Strategic Sourcing & Programs at Culligan Quench, leading initiatives focused on operational excellence and long-term value creation.
Now an MBA candidate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Jeremy co-chairs the Wharton Africa Business Forum, convening global leaders to advance dialogue and investment across the continent. Deeply committed to Ignatius, he supports young alumni engagement through the Tolton Society and remains passionate about mentorship, faith, and expanding opportunity for the next generation.
