Arrupe Mentors

If you have an older brother or sister, you know how helpful their guidance can be...

That idea motivates our Arrupe Mentors program, named after Fr. Pedro Arrupe S.J., who made it his life's work to educate men and women to serve others.

Arrupe Mentors are a select group of seniors who help freshmen as they acclimate to the Saint Ignatius College Prep family. They encourage involvement, support faith and justice programs, answer questions and help create community among our newest students. Anyone interested in becoming an Arrupe Mentor should apply in the spring prior to senior year.

Steven Spielberg, Film Director

“The delicate balance of mentoring someone is not creating them in your own image, but giving them the opportunity to create themselves.”
