IVC

Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC)

Ignatian Volunteer Corps is a service club committed to living a “faith that does justice.” IVC is a great opportunity for students who wish to deepen their response to service and justice work in a variety of ways, both on campus and throughout the city of Chicago. Annual events include the IVC Halloween Party, when we turn Saint Ignatius College Prep into a haunted house for grammar school students. We also have monthly service opportunities with Off the Street Club.  Every “Third Thursday” we hang out with amazing young people in West Garfield Park. Additionally, we serve senior citizens with their technology questions and support through “Teen Tech Connect.” Overall, IVC hopes to explore issues affecting vulnerable people in our surrounding neighborhoods. We also hope you’ll join us!
