  • We put the fun thought in "Toga! Toga! Toga!"

If you are interested in the ancient world - everything from the language and the culture to the history and mythology of ancient Greece and Rome - you will most certainly enjoy the Classics Club. We play ancient Roman games such as Trigon. We have fun with myth reenactments. We bring out the popcorn for sword-and-sandal movies such as Gladiator and Troy.  And we put on those togas at the annual state convention for the Illinois Junior Classical League. We also rock the Illinois Certamen League, a quiz-style competition in which teams answer questions covering all aspects of the ancient world. But don't take our word for it...We recently won "Club of the Month" in the National Junior Classical League.

If you have an appreciation for the classics, grow it with us!
