Ethics Bowl

“Great people have great values and great ethics.” -Jeffrey Gitomer

Ethics Bowl is a competitive, yet collaborative club in which students discuss real-life ethical issues. We gather weekly to informally discuss these ethical topics and also prepare for competitions. In matches, teams take turns analyzing cases about complex ethical dilemmas. They respond to questions and comments from other students and from a panel of judges. Saint Ignatious hosts an annual invitational in December, and our team participates in the National High School Ethics Bowl each spring.

Potter Stewart, Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court

“Ethics is knowing the difference between what you have a right to do and what is right to do.”
