Bass Fishing Club

Exploring the great outdoors...

If spending time in the great outdoors with friends and a fishing pole sounds good to you, the Saint Ignatius Bass Fishing Club might be your thing! This group of students welcomes anyone who enjoys fishing, regardless of angling experience.

In the interest of having something for everyone, students who *do* have a deeper fishing background, can compete on the Bass Fishing Team. The picture you see is from one of the tournaments, which take place in the fall and spring around the state of Illinois.

Herbert Hoover, US President

“Fishing is the chance to wash one’s soul with pure air, with the rush of the brook, or with the shimmer of sun on blue water.”
